Veteran’s Edge Conference Held To Facilitate Transition
From Military To Business Careers May 18
Leading Executive Associations Partner To Host Free Networking Event For
Veterans
RALEIGH, N.C. – John Crites, president and CEO of the Triangle
Technology Executives Council (www.ncttec.net), has announced
that TTEC is partnering with the Financial Executives Networking Group (www.thefeng.org) and the Raleigh-Wake
Human Resource Management Association (www.rwhrma.org) to host
the Veterans Edge conference on Tuesday, May 18 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the
Brier Creek Country Club, located at 9400 Club Hill Drive.The executive associations are combining
resources to produce a day-long networking event to facilitate the transition of
veterans from military to business careers.
"Our executive communities are united in our belief that leadership
skills attained through military careers can translate into highly valued
attributes in corporate leadership,” said Crites."We believe that our military veterans have contributed to
the strength of our nation and deserve our support in facilitating their
long-term careers after their service.”
The conference will include insights from senior executives in the
Triangle region who have extensive military backgrounds, as well as
perspectives on the challenges and opportunities in transitioning from military
to business careers.Additionally,
local business leaders will be in attendance to speak about the professional
job market and strategies for success in the job search.
Any active or retired military member interested in pursuing a
