Executive Education & Collaboration
The primary value available to TTEC members is the various means for
collaboration among the constituents. Companies requiring expert advice
for key decisions and development objectives can often utilize the
collective expertise of the council as an alternative to expensive
consulting engagements. It is our experience that challenges facing our
member companies are usually shared problems and that collaboration
with members sharing goals, or have experience overcoming particular
challenges, can be the route to the most cost effective resolution.
TTEC education & collaboration is conducted in the following forums:
- Monthly briefings on topics chosen and prioritized by the members
- Participation in TTEC discussions and blogs associated with the constituents priority issues
- Ah-hoc conference calls / meetings initiated by members with shared challenges
- Coordinated technology issue research resulting in templates and/or white papers accessible to all TTEC members
- Consulting engagements on common issues funded by a coalition of TTEC member

Higher Education Support
The Triangle Technology Executives Council offers mentoring and
career development support to Computer Science students at local
universities. Volunteer executives from TTEC provide the resources and
executive level experience to provide meaningful support to aspiring
technology resources. This encompasses the following:
- Reviewing resumes and provided constructive feedback
- Conducting mock interviews, either in person or via telephone
- Conversations with students regarding career goals
Students participating in this effort gain a valuable perspective of
the executives they will be facing when it comes time to enter the
workforce. In the interim, they have the opportunity to gain
internships from the relationships built through the TTEC mentoring
process.

Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED)
TTEC shares the dedication of CED in the support of regional
economic development. Our volunteer technology executive resources
provide mentoring for entrepreneurs in technology focused start-up
companies and enable the immediate social networking among other
technology leaders in the region. We believe the partnerships and
shared experiences of the TTEC membership can be an important aspect in
the success of a technology start-up.
In addition to mentoring, TTEC provides resources to CED’s FastTrac
training program providing valuable education to entrepreneurs. TTEC
members volunteer as instructors/mentors in the FastTrac process and
offer expert perspectives on technologies associated with new ventures.
